Doing and Communicating Science.

Analysis of exhibition and interactive proposals from Visual Anthropology

In June, the training course “Doing and Communicating Science. Analysis of expository and interactive proposals from Visual Anthropology” will be given by Lic. Greta Winckler, within the framework of the training offered by the College of Graduates in Anthropology of Argentina (CGA).

The course will consist of 4 synchronous meetings, on Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (ARG), in virtual mode, which will address these four areas

1) The relationship between image and science. What do we mean when we say scientific “visualization”? Some theoretical clarifications
2) Exhibition complexes: thinking of the museum as a device. Special emphasis on anthropological museums.
3) Digital experiences. What is happening in our digital culture today? Do you know any digital experiences linked to scientific teams? What can we do and see in them?
4) Public communication of science. What can we contribute to this contemporary and urgent discussion?

The four meetings will be based on various analysis cases and will aim to provide participants with tools for their own projects.
