Ondare Irekia | Open Heritage

Projects for the conservation, dissemination and promotion of cultural heritage

Ondare Irekia | Open Heritage is a project that seeks to promote digital openness to cultural heritage in order to facilitate its dissemination and knowledge. Together with the Visual Anthropology Area, it works on the development of 360º digital experiences, virtual and augmented reality, immersive visual anthropology, Metaverse environments and experiences, photogrammetry and 3D modelling, as well as research and consultancy for museums and cultural institutions. From an interdisciplinary perspective that incorporates the contributions of Digital Humanities, we develop research projects in the field of cultural heritage aimed at scientific dissemination and the creation of inclusive, open and participatory knowledge experiences.
